Dear Friends,
This email from Prayer Central caused me to think of a couple of questions. I have a bad habit of thinking occasionally before prayer. I also recommend that you join this group so you can get "prayer orders" from the most high and moral Republican movement. However, I am wondering if God gets his orders from the multitude of prayer soldiers.
  • 1. Did we bomb Afghanistan to bring liberation to women? If so, I heard last night that women in Europe have more freedom than women in America. Does that mean that Germany and France could bomb the United States of America to further liberate our women?
  • 2. Does God grow tired of our ignorant prayers? If we don't know what liberties we have lost since the founding of our Constitution, will he restore what we know not to ask for? What our forefathers understood and died for, will God grant us, without our perception? How will we know when he grants it?
  • 3. Should we then pray for knowledge of the laws of liberty? Why will we be excused from knowledge when our forefathers were not? Just how special are we anyway? Just how wonderful are our prayers anyway? How can we ornament our prayers to seduce God into giving us what we can't express?

    Ronald F. Avery
I pray therefore that the knowledge of the laws and fundamentals of liberty, that once filled this land, be labored for once again, and that once understood, that God grant us the power to restore the same. Is it not clear that without knowledge we do not have authority to establish liberty.
